This is so good, Ruth! Somehow I missed it when you first posted, and I'm so glad that someone else linked it and I saw it. I love to think of writing as hospitality--two things dear to my heart that I have somehow never connected before!
After the last 7 years, this is the part that makes me shudder: "and even foes." But I AM trying to get back to my desire to share and help people instead of walling myself off in self-preservation. And I love the thought of writing as hospitality!
I love how you are reframing that from scarcity to abundance, the craft of writing fueled by the spirit or generosity.
Beautiful!
Thank you, April.
Love this, Ruth. It resonates.
Thank you, Judy. I know you will understand this.
This is beautiful, Ruth--both challenging and inspiring.
Thank you, Rebecca. There's a lot to mull over still.
